Class Visitors

I found the first visitor very interesting they had a lot of interesting stories. I liked his story and how he came to Salem knowing none but by meeting all these new people he made so many connections that helped him out in many ways. What stuck out to me was how important it is to make connections with the people around you because they can help you out in so many ways. I want to learn more about the activities Salem has to offer. One thing I've heard visitors talk about is the house of the seven gables.

Doing the homework before the speakers came helped because it gave me some background knowledge before they came. Knowing what Red's was helped me understand what the first speaker was talking about. Also learning what sense of place is helped understand what the second speaker was talking about. What made the speakers affective is when the first speaker told us how important connections are and meeting new people. Being in college you meet so many new people and I've realized you should be kind and respectful to everyone you meet because you never know they could help you in the future. I found the first speaker interesting so I was engaged. I rated myself at 3 because I paid attention for most of the time he talked and I was engaged in what he was talking about.
